Welcome to the Middle School Counseling Department

The mission of Palmyra-Macedon Middle School's comprehensive school counseling program is to provide all students, regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality, or socioeconomic status, with innovative and practical academic experiences. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported. Student academic, career, and personal/social development is addressed through individual planning, classroom guidance, responsive services, and consultation (ASCA, 2005).

Our dedicated team of counselors works tirelessly to advocate for all students, ensuring that each one has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We believe that every student has unique strengths and abilities, and we strive to help them discover and develop these qualities. By collaborating with administrators, faculty, staff, and parents, we create a comprehensive system of support that promotes academic achievement and personal growth.

In addition to our core services, we offer a variety of special projects and initiatives designed to enhance the student experience. These may include workshops on mental health, career exploration events, and peer mentoring programs. We also provide resources and support for students facing personal challenges, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Please use this website to explore the many services provided by the counseling department.
